I am the creater.

Stephen Hobson has been a geek ever since the release of Windows 98. He started participating in online activities when he was around ten years old. He never tried out an OS X machine until the day that Windows Vista's logo showed up on his screen. From that day on he has been ready to drop Vista and move to a Mac. The only problem with that is the fact that he does not have enough money. Currently he has a Dell Inspiron. It is a Core 2 Duo but it serves him pretty well as far as speed goes.

He has been blogging for years and has only gotten better over time. His blogging platforms have changed over those years but it is still the same content.

Powering over four websites using ether WordPress or PHPBB, (mostly WordPress.org's software) he finds it to be a very satisfying experience.

Currently, Stephen is working on a book. He plans to get it published by the end of the end of 2009.

I have had my blog at Techy.tk for years. I am on most popular networks. Youtube, Myspace, Twitter and DOZENS more. Check out all of them. I am a huge cross platform geek. I enjoy Getting up early and playing on my computer's. I have a Dell inspiron 531s with a 24in monitor as my desktop. My laptop is an inspiron 8200 with Ubuntu. (Compiz enabled). I have been a geek since I was 11 and I built my own website (http://thegeeklife.tk/) when I was 12. I loved computers ever since Win 98. Right now I have Vista as my desktop. Don't get me started. I am looking at Mac Pros. I know I like macs better I just don't have $2,000 to spend. I am going to be building my own PC soon. :-)

How To Make a Good Video

I have many webcams. I was going to give one of them away but that was a big fail. One thing that upsets me, is that 60% of the videos out there are just plain bad. People have no clue what they are saying and it is filled with "um" and static noise. I record screencast because all of my videos are about software. So, that is the best way to show off software. If you record from a camera than you might want to look at these tips before you get started.

Do you Like Safari 4?

Have you ever tried out Safari? It is Apple’s web browser. Well, Safari 4 Beta was just released the other day and I have been fooling around with it ever since. The first thing that I love about it is how Apple changed the UI to look more like a native Windows application. They could have done better it is a big improvement.
