How To Make a Good Video

I have many webcams. I was going to give one of them away but that was a big fail. One thing that upsets me, is that 60% of the videos out there are just plain bad. People have no clue what they are saying and it is filled with "um" and static noise. I record screencast because all of my videos are about software. So, that is the best way to show off software. Today I came across some documentation about Google Chrome add-ons. My eyes instantly became wide open. Apparently, there are a few add-ons planning to be released for Chrome soon. The first piece of software that I downloaded to my Windows 2000 machine years ago was Google Earth. I loved it. I played with it every day. Occasionally, I will need to print out a portion of a website. There are several ways to do this. You can open a text editor and click and drag and cut and paste hundreds of things. Or, you can use PrintWhatYouLike.com. Best ink saver ever. Just paste in a URL from a site, pick what part(s) you want to print, and print them. It saves time, money and ink. OS Thoughts

For a few years I used Windows 98. At that point in time I did not realize that I was a geek. Then the day came were I used Windows XP. Better, but still not great. Then, the all mighty Vista came. I really don't like iTunes for Windows. It works but it takes five minutes to pull up on any Windows machine. Not to menchine, it is one of the most bloated pieces of software I have ever seen. What Do I Think of Windows 7?

Those of you who follow me on Twitter know that I have been waiting to get some GB CDs so I could beta test Windows 7. Well, I finally got some and loaded it up on a spare Dell XPS laptop that I have. Over all it is an improvement over Vista. All though, a rock is an improvement over Vista.
